Bulk domain search: screening hundreds of names at once

1 min read · updated 2026-08-22

Checking names one at a time does not scale past about twenty candidates. Bulk screening turns a long list into a short one you can research properly.

Build the list first

Clean input produces clean output. Strip protocols, subdomains and trailing slashes, lowercase everything, and remove duplicates before you paste. A list of bare hostnames, one per line, is what you want.

Discard aggressively

Cut anything failing a hard filter before you look at scores at all.

  • Wrong extension for your market.
  • Longer than your maximum character count.
  • Contains a trademarked term.
  • Hyphens, numbers, or a spelling that needs explaining.

Then go deep on the survivors

Export what is left, appraise the top names individually, and compare the final two or three side by side. Bulk screening is a filter, not a decision.
